Bridget enjoys coaching people, whatever their situation, to live life to the full, to take them to wherever they want to be and further than they imagined was possible.
Busy professionals or mums wanting more time will benefit from her inspiring yet practical approach. Other clients want more confidence in their role at work or socially. Teenagers growing up, mid life crisis, facing retirement, divorce, the shock of bereavement or disability are all situations where people can ask "what's next?" Bridget helps them to step back, gain clarity, greater choice and momentum to enable them to live their life to the full.
Before qualifying as a coach Bridget was a teacher and mum, and for 25 years was a Samaritan. During this time she was both local and Southern Region Training Officer, and also a key player involved in designing and delivering National and External Training. Areas covered included leadership skills, group dynamics, interviewing techniques, public speaking and interpersonal skills up to board level. She has worked with voluntary groups and statutory organisations as well as individuals of all ages. Her experience in work and life is invaluable as is her positive ‘young at heart' attitude.
Clients describe Bridget as friendly and relaxed, yet professional. Through various exercises and questions her clients gain new awareness about themselves and the choices they have. Actions are developed and agreed which clients feel are appropriate. “Bridget knew how, where and when to develop my understanding of who I am and what will improve my life - she is an excellent coach” .
